Le département d’études des religions de l’Université de Lucerne (Suisse) propose un contrat pour un projet de recherche qui commencera en juillet 2012 "Civic engagement of religious associations of immigrants: Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist associations in Switzerland and Austria".
We seek a gifted PHD candidate with interests in the areas of migration & religion and theory of social capital. The position for three years is designed to research Hindu and Buddhist associations and their activities of civic engagement. Salary according to the Swiss Research Foundation.
Good language skills in German is mandatory, as main sites of research will be Zurich and Vienna.
