Une bourse de recherche de trois ans est offerte au Woolf Institute, Cambridge, pour une recherche sur la confiance en Europe.

The study will examine trust between and amongst faith communities in four European cities: Paris, Berlin, London, and Rome. The suitable candidate should have some knowledge of religion in a European context and the capacity to conduct qualitative research. Knowledge of French, German, or Italian in order to conduct research in multiple cities is also necessary. The JRF must possess a PhD in a relevant discipline and be able to live in or commute easily to Cambridge. The salary is £26,000 plus benefits. The exact start date is negotiable but should be no later than October 1, 2013.
The deadline is September 6 at 5:00 pm. Interviews will be held September 18.

Afroeuropéens

Un appel à contribution est ouvert pour un colloque international Afroeurope@ans: Black culture and identities in Europe. Continental Shifts, Shifts in Perception, Londres, 1-4 octobre 2013 (Senate House, Malet House, London WC1E 7HU).

L’un des thèmes proposés est "All Gods in the New World? Reflecting on the clash and convergences of religions in the AfroEuropean arena".

Submissions that do not directly deal with the aforementioned topics will also be considered. Presentations, which are not restricted to written academic texts, should be planned to last for no more than twenty minutes. The language of the conference for presentations will be English, French or Spanish. We require an abstract of 400 words, which must be written in the language of the presentation.

– and should be submitted no later than 1 March 2013. The scientific committee will reply to all abstracts no later than 15 April 2013. A full programme, including plenary speakers and all other participants, will be published by 1 June 2013. A selection of papers and other presentations will be published after the conference.

L’islam dans l’Europe d’entre les deux guerres

Un appel à contribution est lancé pour un colloque organisé par BMBF "Europe from the Outside" de l’Institute for Oriental and Asian Studies, université de Bonn, et Leiden University Centre for the Study of Islam and Society (LUCIS), Islam in Interwar Europe and European Cultural History, université de Leiden, 13-14 décembre 2012. Date limite de candidature 20 novembre 2012.
