La Faculté d’histoire, art et études orientales de l’Université de Leipzig offre un poste d’assistant professeur (Juniorprofessor) en « Study of Religion » (contrat de 3 ans renouvelable une fois).
The appointment begins in April 2012. The successful applicant will join the Institute for the Study of Religions to teach and conduct research in General and Comparative Studies of Religion. We expect applications from scholars who combine expertise in theory and method in the study of religion with competence in at least one field of historical or empirical research in religion.
The position has a tenure track option according to § 59 (2) of the Law on Higher Educational Institutions of the State of Saxony (SächsHSG).
Conditions of employment and obligations of the holder of the position are specified in §§ 63, 64, 70 of the same law.
